The 2027 Toyota Crown moves most of its lineup to Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system, and both ends of the price range rise $200.

What changed for 2027

  • The XLE, Limited and Nightshade switch to the fifth-generation hybrid system, rated at an EPA-estimated 40 mpg combined, and gain paddle shifters.
  • The Limited adds a Panoramic View Monitor, Traffic Jam Assist capability and Digital Key capability as standard, and now comes with full Saddle Tan seats.
  • The 340-horsepower Platinum keeps its Hybrid MAX powertrain and gains standard red brake calipers and a black window surround. Its bi-tone paint now pairs the black roof with a body-colored trunk.
  • A reshaped rear bumper and a new black paint called Inked arrive, and the Nightshade gets new black badge overlays.
  • The XLE starts at $41,640 and the Platinum at $55,190, both $200 more than for 2026.
