The last fifth-generation GR Supra will be auctioned with no reserve in January, and every dollar of the hammer price will go to disaster relief.

The car, the final MkV built at the Graz, Austria, plant, will cross the block at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction. Toyota Motor North America donated the car to Reach Out WorldWide, the nonprofit founded by the late Paul Walker, and the money will go to the group’s first-responder teams around the world. The Scottsdale sale runs January 23-31, 2027, and the car was shown beforehand in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center during Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction in September.

The car is a one-of-one MkV Final Edition with a custom factory VIN ending in "99999," according to autoevolution. It is painted in an exclusive Phantom Gray with a matte-and-red GT4 Style Pack that adds red mirror caps and GR side decals, and it carries the Final Edition’s carbon fiber ducktail spoiler, front wheel arch flaps and high front spats. It has the six-speed manual behind the 382-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, a leather and Alcantara interior with red stitching, and the signature of Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda. It is also one of the 1,300 Final Editions reserved for North America, which Kelley Blue Book reported are priced at $69,085 with delivery.

The sale bookends the MkV’s run at the same auction house. In January 2019, Barrett-Jackson sold the first production MkV Supra, VIN 20201, for $2.1 million for charity. Cody Walker, Paul Walker’s brother and the CEO of Reach Out WorldWide, said Toyota’s donation could help the foundation break that record and "make a massive difference for communities facing disaster." The Walker family has sold cars through Barrett-Jackson before, including a Honda Civic Type R in 2021 and Paul Walker’s personal collection in 2020.

The Toyota Report Take

A no-reserve sale of the last car off the line is a classy way to close out the MkV, and tying it to Paul Walker’s charity connects it to the Supra’s biggest pop-culture moment. Breaking the $2.1 million set by the first car will be hard, since that sale had the novelty of a brand-new Supra after a 21-year absence, while this one marks a goodbye. Even a fraction of that figure would make this the most valuable MkV Final Edition by a wide margin, and the money is going somewhere that matters.
