The Cheapest 2027 Lexus RX Now Costs $2,675 More
The 2027 Lexus RX starts at $55,450, which is $2,675 more than the cheapest RX sold for 2026.
The 2027 Lexus RX starts at $55,450, which is $2,675 more than the cheapest RX sold for 2026.
The increase comes from Lexus dropping the RX’s Standard grades, so the front-drive RX 350 Premium becomes the new base model. The same $2,675 gap shows up across the lineup, with the cheapest all-wheel-drive RX 350 rising from $54,375 to $57,050 and the cheapest RX 350h hybrid from $55,075 to $57,750.
The prices come from Lexus’s 2027 pricing sheet, dated October 16, which no longer lists the RX 350 Standard FWD, RX 350 Standard AWD or RX 350h Standard AWD that appeared on the 2026 sheet. Both years include a $1,550 delivery, processing and handling fee.
| Cheapest version | 2026 | 2027 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| RX 350 FWD | $52,775 (Standard) | $55,450 (Premium) | +$2,675 |
| RX 350 AWD | $54,375 (Standard) | $57,050 (Premium) | +$2,675 |
| RX 350h AWD | $55,075 (Standard) | $57,750 (Premium) | +$2,675 |
The grades that remain go up much less. Every RX 350 and RX 350h grade costs $500 more than for 2026, from the RX 350 Premium to the RX 500h F SPORT Performance at $68,950, while the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid goes up just $100 to $66,880 as a Premium and $73,510 as a Luxury.

Lexus hasn’t said what the Standard grade left out compared with the Premium, so it isn’t clear how much of the $2,675 buys extra equipment.
The Toyota Report Take
A $500 increase on most grades is easy to accept, but losing the Standard grade quietly raises the price of the RX by $2,675 for the buyers who shop on price. Those buyers now start at $55,450, which puts the RX closer to the three-row TX and makes a well-equipped NX worth a look.
