Toyota Didn’t Touch a Thing on the 2027 Camry
The 2027 Toyota Camry starts at $29,700 and returns with the same grades, features and options as the 2026 car, so the only thing new about Toyota's midsize sedan is the model year.
The 2027 Toyota Camry starts at $29,700 and returns with the same grades, features and options as the 2026 car, so the only thing new about Toyota’s midsize sedan is the model year.
That price buys a Camry LE with front-wheel drive, before the dealer processing and handling fee, and every 2027 Camry is still a hybrid. The fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with electric motors for 225 net horsepower with front-wheel drive or 232 horsepower with the electric all-wheel drive, which uses a separate motor on the rear axle and is offered on all five grades. Toyota estimates the LE FWD at 51 mpg combined.
Toyota’s October 13 release lists "Grades, Features and Options Carryover for the 2027 Model Year" among its headline points and gives only the LE’s starting price. It doesn’t list prices for the SE, Nightshade, XLE or XSE, and it doesn’t give a 2026 figure to compare with. AutoGuide also reported that features, options and mechanicals carry over unchanged.

The lineup still splits two ways. The LE and XLE are the comfortable Camrys, with the LE on 16-inch alloys and woven fabric seats and the XLE adding 18-inch wheels, leather and Dinamica microfiber trim, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and acoustic front side glass. The SE, Nightshade and XSE share a sport-tuned suspension, the SE and XSE add mesh grilles, canards and exposed dual exhaust tips, and the XSE rides on 19-inch wheels and offers a Midnight Black Metallic roof on select colors. The Nightshade adds black accents and its own 19-inch wheels and comes only in Ice Cap, Supersonic Red or Midnight Black Metallic.
Every grade gets Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Safe Exit Alert, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and dual-zone climate control. An 8-inch touchscreen is standard, with a 12.3-inch screen available on select grades, and the XLE and XSE offer a Premium Plus Package that adds Traffic Jam Assist, a 360-degree camera and parking assist with automatic braking.

The Camry is still built at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky in Georgetown, and Toyota expects the 2027 cars at dealers this fall. The hybrid components carry an 8-year/100,000-mile warranty, and the hybrid battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles.
The Toyota Report Take
A carryover year is the right call for this Camry. The ninth generation only arrived for 2025, it went hybrid-only without losing buyers, and it is selling better this year than last, so there is nothing urgent to fix. The one thing worth watching is pricing above the LE, because Toyota published only the base figure, and a quiet increase on the XLE or XSE would matter more to most buyers than any new feature could.
