The next two cheapest versions are also SRs, the 4×2 SR Double Cab with the 8.1-foot bed at $43,555 and the 4×2 SR CrewMax with the 5.5-foot bed at $44,890. A 4×4 SR Double Cab is $45,890, and the cheapest SR5 is the 4×2 Double Cab at $47,150.
Toyota doesn’t sell a regular-cab Tundra, so the entry truck is a four-door. Against 2026 rivals, that puts it close to the Ford F-150 XL SuperCab at $44,890 and the Ram 1500 Tradesman Quad Cab at $44,170. Ford’s cheapest F-150, the XL Regular Cab, starts at $42,620. Those prices are for 2026 and may rise for 2027.

The Toyota Report Take
A $42,890 Tundra is still a full-size four-door with a twin-turbo V6, which is more truck than a base F-150 Regular Cab gives you for about the same money. But the SR took the biggest increase on the sheet, and the cheapest Tundra keeps drifting toward $45,000 before fees. Shoppers who can stretch to the SR5 get more for the difference.
