Toyota Motor Thailand refreshed the Alphard and Vellfire for 2026 in August and added a new HEV Smart trim that opens the lineup at 3,590,000 baht.
Both vans use a 2.5-liter hybrid with E-Four all-wheel drive in Thailand, rated at up to 17.9 km/L, and seat seven. Toyota revealed the update on August 3. Neither van is sold in the United States, where Toyota’s minivan is the Sienna, and Lexus doesn’t sell the Alphard-based LM here either.
According to Thairath Online, the new Smart trim comes with 19-inch alloy wheels. The update also lists a 10-way power second-row seat controlled by a detachable tablet, with a massage function, along with four-zone automatic climate control, T-Connect connectivity and Toyota Safety Sense, though the report doesn’t say which of those features reach the Smart. The Premium and Premium Luxury trims get retractable side steps, and each trim offers an Eclipse Edition with matte paint protection film installed and guaranteed by Toyota.
| 2026 Alphard and Vellfire, Thailand | Price (baht) |
|---|---|
| Alphard HEV Smart | 3,590,000 |
| Alphard HEV Smart Eclipse Edition | 3,720,000 |
| Alphard HEV Premium | 4,290,000 |
| Vellfire HEV Premium | 4,290,000 |
| Alphard HEV Premium Eclipse Edition | 4,420,000 |
| Vellfire HEV Premium Eclipse Edition | 4,420,000 |
| Alphard HEV Premium Luxury | 4,590,000 |
| Alphard HEV Premium Luxury Eclipse Edition | 4,720,000 |

Buyers who purchase through Toyota Motor Thailand also get a maintenance package covering standard checks up to 100,000 km, brake pad and wiper replacements, and tire and battery discounts. Both vans were shown at the Big Motor Sale in Bangkok from August 21 to 30.
The Toyota Report Take
This is a modest update, and the Smart trim is mainly a way to get more buyers into a van that sells on its image. The Vellfire’s absence from the bottom of the price list suggests Toyota sees the Alphard as the volume model in Thailand.
