The 2027 Lexus NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid comes standard with DC fast charging.
On a 50-kW DC fast charger, Lexus says the battery goes from 10% to 80% in 35 minutes. On a 240-volt Level 2 charger, a 10% to 100% charge takes as little as 2.5 hours.
Lexus listed the charging changes in its 2027 NX announcement on October 20. The NX 450h+ also switches to a North American Charging Standard (NACS) style port, the connector Tesla developed, behind a powered charge port door.

The battery is bigger too, with 8% more capacity, and Lexus estimates 45 miles of electric range for every grade, up from the 2026 model’s EPA rating of 37 miles.
Fast charging is standard on all four NX 450h+ grades, Premium, Premium+, F SPORT and Luxury, while the NX 350h hybrid doesn’t plug in at all. Lexus hasn’t announced pricing, and EPA ratings will come closer to the on-sale date.

The Toyota Report Take
A 35-minute stop that takes the battery from 10% to 80% adds roughly 30 miles of electric driving, based on Lexus’s 45-mile estimate. That won’t matter to owners who charge at home every night, but it makes the NX 450h+ more useful to anyone who can’t, and the NACS port means it plugs into the same connector as a Tesla.
